- sitting on abandoned couches in the middle of the yard as the big ol' texas sun tucks itself to bed.
- folks who think dirty farmers are beautiful.
- teaching city kids about compost.
- having pre-schoolers close their eyes, inhale the scent of 35 tons of turkey manure, and watch the delight/disgust in their eyes.
- snake-skin boots.
- progressive tea parties with farmers who look like gypsies when they trade in their overalls and carhartts for skirts.
- wendell berry's mad farmer liberation front.
- farm-brewed kombucha.
- friday morning baptist hymn sings.
- beautiful community composed of broken folks (ie the body of Christ).
- rocking chairs.
- laundry lines.
- the never ending pot o' coffee.
- others who appreciate agriculture as art.
- reclaiming the abandoned places of the kingdom by growing vegetables on vacant lots, in front lawns and old busted-up television sets.
- God. neighbors. the opportunity to love and be loved on a daily basis. and give thanks.

amen. looking forward to seeing some of the WHRI family soon. And God bless those who remain to hold down the fort!
It is all about Him and His provision and His grace. He alone deserves the praise, worship and glory of all that is ..... without Him in the forefront and in the center it is empty works.
